Meaningful Learning

KLA Brickell is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach to education. Relationships are fundamental and children learn through meaningful experiences that are responsive to all different learning styles.

Approach to Learning

To support engagement and motivation in our classrooms, our content is often an extension of the children’s daily lives and related to our context.

  • Through projects, children explore, analyze, and evaluate different concepts and topics.
  • Using a variety of rich materials and innovative spaces, children design, create and formulate theories.
  • The teachers observe and document children’s learning processes.

All children, from infants to kindergarten, are active participants of the learning process which strengthens the teacher-child relationship as co-constructors of knowledge.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy emphasizes the child’s abilities, competences, and natural aptitudes, developing and fostering the child in ways that encourage the development of new and inherent talents, allowing children to succeed. At KLA Brickell we believe that all children have a right to the best quality education.

My girls think outside the box. They have a true love of learning. Without any hesitation, I give full credit to KLA. - Simeen Hussain, Parent

At the core is the child’s natural curiosity coupled with a respect for the qualities and values that we believe each child is born with. With the support of parents, teachers, and the community, kids will learn and develop. Preparing them to excel in their elementary, middle, high school, university education, and lives.
