Mission & Values
As part of the KLA Way, our philosophy and educational approach we view children as citizens of today. That means that we believe the children should be actively involved in their communities, which will support them in building values such as empathy and comradery.
We have different ways of thinking, a fact we embrace. In fulfilling our vision, KLA Brickell has formed relationships with a number of charitable organizations.
His House Children’s Home is a private, faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to restoring joy to the lives of children from newborn to 18 years of age, offering safe, caring homes to abused, abandoned and neglected children in South Florida.
Children and families of KLA Schools of Brickell organize a variety of ways to support this cause throughout the year.
Camillus’ House is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian services to men, women and children who are poor and homeless.
Each year KLA Schools of Brickell participates in fundraising through the Camillus House Organization. We ask our families and the local community to help us by providing basic non-perishable necessities to these people in our community.
The Pajama Program provides new pajamas and new books to children in need, many who are below the poverty level or waiting and hoping to be adopted.
Each year around the winter holidays, KLA Schools of Brickell collects books and pajamas for children from infants to six years old.
Our school has supported countries such as Ecuador, Chile, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, among others after they have gone through different natural disasters that have affected their community. Our families have made donations and collected non-perishable items, blankets, water, and more to send to the victims.
